Three (3) years of OLAP/Data Warehousing and Decision Support using MicroStrategy 8.1.1/7.5.0/7.2.3, Oracle 10g/9i/8i, SQL Server 2000, SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD 7.4 Strong working experience in Creating Complex Reports in MicroStrategy Desktop and MicroStrategy Web using Templates, Filters, Prompts, Metrics, Base Formula, Consolidations and Custom Groups. Involved in MicroStrategy Architect work in creating project, Schema Objects such as Simple, Compound, Custom facts and Attributes, Transformation, Logical Tables, Hierarchies etc. Developed Reports and Data Mart reports with complex Metrics and filters Developed MicroStrategy Report Services Document/Dashboard/Dynamic Dashboard Reporting, Custom Documents to combine the Data sets of multiple reports and also created custom Dash Boards. Involved in Tuning of the Reports and Data Marts by using VLDB settings and IServer/Project Level Settings, Pre/Post SQL, Partition Tables, Indexes and Aggregate tables to increase performance of reports. Experience in working with very large MicroStrategy projects and large databases. Extensively worked with End Users on the UAT of the Reports and Data Marts. Proficient in using TOAD, Queryman, SQL Navigator. Designed and Developed PL/SQL procedures for loading the Dimension tables. Prepared Documents such as Functional Specifications, UAT Testing Plans, Report Requirement Analysis, PL/SQL Procedures and Technical Documents. Involved in Data modeling process of designing Star and Snowflake Schemas for business needs. · Solid understanding in Meta Data Strategies, Data Warehouse Concepts and Technology. Three (3) years of US Experience. Five (5) years of extensive experience in Oracle Tools like Oracle Developer/2000, Forms 10g/ Reports 10g, Forms 6i/ Report 6i,PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader. Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Packages. Expertise in identification of Business and Data requirements and converting them into Conceptual and Logical Data Models. Sound working experience in Relational Database Theory, Entity Modeling and Normalization. Proven Analytical and Problem Solving skills in large environments. Extensively worked in UNIX (AIX/NCR-RAS SVR4/HP-Unix/Sun Solaris) and Windows NT/ 2000 Platforms. In-Depth industry experience in Retail/Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, and Financial Services.
